I didn't have to wait to have my car serviced and was able to have it done the day I requested because I was planning an unexpected long trip for a funeral of my sister. They got in right away and they were kind, knowledgeable and professional. And the popcorn was very good too.

Granite Nissan — Misleading, Dishonest, and Financially Harmful Experience
I am writing this review to warn others after an incredibly misleading and financially damaging experience at Granite Nissan. I purchased a car from them and realized within hours that I had been misled. I went in for a vehicle with good gas mileage, but the salesperson talked me into a floor model and refused to let me test drive the exact car I was buying. Instead, he had me drive a “similar” model, demonstrating features like co-pilot assist and 3D camera views. Based on that test drive, I agreed to purchase.

Tyler was amazing. He made sure we knew every step in the process and gave us priority since we were traveling when the trans failed. He worked with our warranty company. My only issue was Nissan parts hub that took 5 days to get a trans to the shop.

I had brought in a 2011 Nissan Juke for engine noise and to see what was wrong with the AC. The AC was recharged without asking first and the person looking at the car said "Yeah there is a noise, you should bring it back and let someone else look at it." We were on vacation in Rapid City and stopped by to “just look” at a new Altima. They happened to have one that was in a great color, with the options we wanted. The financing rate that Nissan offered was surprisingly low. They negotiated with us (this isn’t the case everywhere). Joe E. Did an amazing job explaining the car and its features. We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend this dealership.

I've purchased vehicles from dealerships all over the country and several in Rapid City. Granite was by far the best one to work with. I told Rusty I was looking for a Sentra. He clearly communicated the options that each of them came with and showed me what was on the lot. He took the time to explain the features that I didn't understand and the value they provide. We landed on a car that I liked and a price I was happy with. When it comes time to trade in, I'll definitely be coming back.
Oliver is hands down the best. Personally, car buying is one of the most stressful things in life. This local South Dakota guy was laid back and went out of his way to make car shopping fun and enjoyable. At no fault of his, I did not end up buying from his dealership. But, I have already told a couple of coworkers searching for a new vehicle to go see him first. When I am ready for another vehicle in a few years-I hope he is still working there.

The maintenance on a previous visit and repair on this most recent visit were completed. However, both times, there has been something I found that was not put back together correctly. The first time was a hose that allowed stinky exhaust to enter the cab. I took the vehicle back in and they connected the hose back. I had a phenomenal experience with my salesman, Weston, and the entire financing and management team! They worked so hard to not only find me a vehicle I LOVED but that I could afford. They were patient and kind and worked together to help me get my brand new 2023 Rogue. I could not have asked for a better experience. I was there for over 6 hours test driving and deciding which car to get, and getting financed was surprisingly quick and no surprises. They are straight forward and they LISTEN to what you can afford and work to make it happen!

If there was other Nissan service center in the area I would probably switch. Customer service is ok. It has gone down in the past 2 years and I've been a customer for over 7 years. There are one or two that try to provide good customer service.
For 45 years I have traded, leased and purchased numerous new vehicles. This was by far the most pleasurable, least pressured buying experience that I have ever had. Rusty Maxon and Cole Fischer were polite, professional, and personable, all at the same time. Their attention to detail, and communication style put my wife and I at ease through the entire process. I would recommend both the Nissan product and this dealership in particular. You will not find a better buying experience.

No time for a person on a budget. I went in with my sister who is on a tight, yet reasonable budget. They didn't have time to discuss options after they learned that she wouldn't be signing a lease on a brand new car. The showroom was beautiful with a large selection on the floor.

I have mixed feelings about our experience. It took over two months to get my heater fixed. There were many factors involved, other repairs and going through my warranty, but I can say Linda was the one person who got my car in finally, after being told I had to wait until all the parts came in. I had to replace my tires, and when I brought my vehicle in, the staff greeted me at the garage and kept me inform on the progress of the work each hour. They made sure I know what is happening to my vehicle and I am comfortable in the waiting area.

I was offered a new lease which included an upgrade on the model and trim of a new Nissan. Huge upgrade from what I was driving before and affordable!
