GRANITE IN THE COMMUNITY

Living, working, and playing in Rapid City and the Black Hills fills us with a sense of belonging and pride. We recognize thriving communities result from strong foundations, including companies that give back and support nonprofits in the area. That's why we established Granite Gratitudes—a community service program aimed at supporting nonprofits, volunteer organizations, and charities throughout the Black Hills.
 
Our commitment to giving back to the community is evident in the substantial contributions we have made. In 2018, we proudly donated over $30,000 in corporate contributions and nonprofit sponsorships. Since then, we have continued to allocate funds, donations, and dedicated community service hours to various charitable and volunteer organizations in our area.
 
As the demand for assistance grows, we have developed comprehensive criteria to evaluate donation requests. Granite Automotive only supports registered nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable organizations operating within the Black Hills region. We believe in aiding those who are already making a difference and do not provide direct donations to individuals. Instead, we focus on providing financial assistance to organizations dedicated to helping those in need. While we often contribute smaller amounts to multiple organizations, we also allocate substantial funds to select local organizations.
 
Our commitment to giving back to our community cannot be overstated. Even the smallest donation can bring about positive change in the lives of people around us, and we’re proud to be a company that gives back to our friends and neighbors in the Black Hills.

Please take a moment to review the outlined criteria for a donation:

• Granite Automotive will only donate to non-profit (501-3C) charitable organizations that are located in the Black Hills areas.
• Granite Automotive donates small amounts of money or services to a large number of qualifying local organizations and larger monetary amounts to only a small, select group of local organizations.
• Granite Automotive does not donate to individuals for their pursuit of personal goals or tragedies. Instead, we give to supporting organizations that in turn help those in need.
