From Your Nissan Dealer: What Does Your 2024 Nissan Car Warranty Cover?
Basic Coverage
This warranty covers the majority of systems and components in your Nissan except for those covered by the other warranties you receive. If a repair or replacement component is required, the work needed to rectify the situation will be completed by Nissan-trained technicians using Nissan parts at no charge.
This coverage applied for the first three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. There are several exclusions, including damage caused by the installation of non-Nissan-approved accessories, environmental damage, or normal wear and tear. All exclusions can be found in the warranty information booklet.
Powertrain Coverage
Powertrain coverage applies for the first five years or 60,000 miles, whichever happens first. This warranty focuses specifically on protecting your engine, transmission, transaxle, powertrain, and restraint system components. Items protected by this warranty include the engine block and cylinder heads, the timing chain, the torque converter, the drive shafts, and your airbags.
Corrosion Coverage
Corrosion can easily cause rapid and permanent damage to almost every metal. Your Nissan’s sheet metal is protected against corrosion, so you will never need to add extra protection. If corrosion appears on any of your car’s sheet metal and creates a hole from one side of the metal to the other, the corroded panel or panels will be replaced at no cost. This coverage applies for the first five years and unlimited mileage.
Additional Warranties
Adjustment Coverage
This applies to your wheel alignment, wheel balancing, and other components that require adjustment, not replacement. This warranty is valid for the first year or 12,000 miles.
Limited 12-Month Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty covers the I-key and key fob batteries against any issue or defect in the first twelve months and unlimited mileage.
Limited 6-Month Warranty Coverage
This warranty protects your original windshield wiper blades for the first six months and unlimited mileage.
Towing
If your Nissan can’t be driven due to the failure of any component covered by these warranties, it will be towed to the nearest authorized dealer for free.
